Eventually Cait returned home to volunteer at the Breckenridge Film Festival. Today, she helps program one of Colorado’s longest-running film festivals while also helping operate #theEclipseTheater and working to strengthen the film festival community across the state. We talked about what makes a film stand out to a programmer, why Breck Film is so focused on story, the importance of independent theaters, bringing filmmaking opportunities to young people, and the future of Colorado’s growing film industry.
